We are your guide, facilitating and enabling maritime stakeholders to build the capabilities needed to drive sustainability impact.

Capacity Building, Training and Education

Lets get your team up to speed

Whether before or after the development of sustainability strategy, gaps exist between current capabilities and those needed to deliver on future ambitions. We offer tailored training programmes that help your team close these gaps.

We offer this essential capacity building both in person and virtually.

  • We design training that lays out your sustainability roadmap as a learning experience.

Materials are developed to support your organisation's specific capacity building needs. As required we align your visual identity, strategy and cultural cursors.

  • We facilitate training sessions in a classroom like setting thats focused on enabling a team to meet their sustainability goals. Our experience and ability to relate insight is multi-layered. We align to our audience and their knowledge level, focusing on the most valuable information for the context.

When possible, we include interactive elements as a part of our facilitation.

  • We develop and deliver academic content across various platforms, ranging from business schools to maritime academies.

Our focus is on bridging theory with practice, in order to enable students to better understand how the future of maritime sustainability may be shaped.

Course contribution: Sustainable Business Strategy at DIS Study Abroad in Scandinavia

Context:

DIS Copenhagen, a non-profit study abroad institution, invited us to deliver a case study for their Sustainable Business Strategy course. Across several semesters, we delivered an introduction to sustainability in shipping and gave them a glimpse of the strategic challenges actors of the maritime sector are exposed to.  For most of these students, this was their first encounter with the maritime industry. Several of these students have afterwards continued seeking opportunities in the maritime sector.

“Both Sofia and Conor have a creative and enthusiastic nature, we have seen this in their interaction with us in the classroom. They thrive on academic challenges, and they are obvious partners for anyone who wants to learn more about the Maritime Industry and Sustainability.”

Training and online course: E&S Tankers

Context:

After delivering a strategic sustainability roadmap for E&S Tankers, they invited us back to deliver training with their Procurement Department.

Our facilitation included classroom tutoring of the content of E&S’ sustainability roadmap, as well as case study workshops, where the team was exposed to fictive examples, to apply new concepts and discuss potential outcomes.

As part of the work for E&S Tankers, we also developed an online course which became a compulsory tool in the roll-out of the new programme.
